Visitor counter for Blogger

Blogger has a gadget made for exactly this: HTML/JavaScript. Put it in the sidebar or the footer, and the counter is on every page of the blog.

Step by step

1. Pick a design on Stats4U and copy the code from the HTML tab.
2. In Blogger open Layout and click “Add a Gadget” in the section where the counter should appear.
3. Choose “HTML/JavaScript”, paste the code into the content field and save.
4. Drag the gadget to its place if needed, save the layout and view the blog.

In this example the counter number is 12345 and the design is a sample. The wizard gives you your own number and the design you pick.

Good to know

• For a counter inside a single post, switch the post editor to HTML view and paste the code from the HTML <img> tab where the counter should stand.
