Visitor counter for Neocities

On Neocities you edit the HTML of every page yourself, so the counter goes straight into the file – no widgets, no forms.

Step by step

1. Pick a design on Stats4U and copy the code from the HTML tab.
2. Open index.html (or another page) in the Neocities editor.
3. Paste the code where the counter should appear, for example in the footer just before </body>.
4. Save and view your site.

In this example the counter number is 12345 and the design is a sample. The wizard gives you your own number and the design you pick.

Free counter

Good to know

• Neocities allows pictures from other websites. If the counter does not appear with the script on your account, take the HTML <img> tab – it is only a picture.
• The gallery has counters in exactly 88×31 pixels, the size of the classic web buttons (family “Mini”).
