Submit a complaint
Whatever is not right about Stats4U is worth saying. This page shows where a complaint goes, what happens next, and which other bodies are responsible alongside.
What this route is for
For complaints about the service itself: about how the data of a counter operator or that of their visitors is handled, about a decision of ours – a block or a deletion, say –, about the advertising on these pages, or about the way someone was treated here.
It is not meant for technical questions – “my counter is not counting”, “I have lost my management link”. Those go faster through support; it is the same form, only with a different category.
How to submit a complaint
Through the form, with the category “Complaint about the service” – it is already selected. Into it goes what happened and what is expected; if it concerns a particular counter, its number belongs there too. It does not work without an e-mail address we can reply to.
What happens next
A complaint arrives in the same mailbox as every support request and is read by hand. The answer comes by e-mail to the address given – usually within two days. There is no automatic acknowledgement of receipt; this server does not send bulk mail. And this route does not have to be exhausted before one of the bodies below takes over.
Without the form: e-mail or letter
The form needs JavaScript, because it sends along a check against automated submissions. Without JavaScript – and likewise for the way by letter – the address stands here. Under § 13.5 of the terms, text form is enough, so an e-mail will do.

Out-of-court bodies
If it is about the handling of personal data, under Art. 77 GDPR every data subject has the right to complain to a supervisory authority at any time, without having asked us first. The competent authority for the provider is the Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland. The supervisory authority of the place of residence or of the workplace is equally open.
The provider does not take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board; § 13.3 of the terms says so. The way to the courts is unaffected by this (§ 13.1, § 13.2).
What is binding is the wording of the terms and of the privacy policy; this page only summarises where to turn. Terms of service · Privacy policy
