The daily hash is built from IP, user agent, counter number, date and a secret salt that changes every day and is deleted after 2 days. After that, not even a known IP allows anyone to work out which hash belonged to whom. Because the counter number is part of it, the same visitor on two different sites cannot be recognised as the same person.
The counter sets no cookies and reads nothing from your device. On stats4u.net itself a session cookie is set only when you create or change a counter.
The home page serves Google AdSense advertising. A consent layer asks for your agreement first. The statistics pages and the blog carry no advertising.
The legal basis for counting is the site owner's legitimate interest in audience measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Whoever embeds the counter on their site is the controller for the data collected there; Stats4U processes it on their behalf.

Quando visiti un sito web che utilizza il nostro contatore, raccogliamo automaticamente informazioni tecniche di base: un indirizzo IP anonimizzato (utilizzato esclusivamente per determinare paese e città), tipo di browser (User-Agent), risoluzione dello schermo, origine del traffico (Referrer) e URL visitati.
3. Approccio Senza Cookie (Cookieless)
A differenza di molti altri sistemi di analisi, i nostri script di tracciamento non utilizzano cookie per tracciarti su diversi siti web. Rispettiamo la tua privacy e non creiamo profili pubblicitari.
4. Utilizzo dei Dati
I dati raccolti vengono utilizzati esclusivamente per generare report statistici aggregati per il proprietario del sito web. Non vendiamo né condividiamo mai dati grezzi con terze parti.
5. Conservazione dei Dati
I log non elaborati dei visitatori vengono automaticamente aggregati e anonimizzati. Dopo il periodo necessario per generare le statistiche (in genere 30 giorni), i log dettagliati vengono eliminati definitivamente dai nostri server.
